Frequently Asked Questions
What base type does the Ushio T3 2000W halogen use?
It uses an MS (mogul screw) base, so you need fixtures with a compatible mogul socket — standard medium-base sockets will not work.
What voltage are these lamps designed for?
They operate at 240 volts. Using them on a 120V circuit without a compatible transformer or ballast will result in significantly reduced output, and using them on a higher voltage risks premature failure.
How many lamps are included in this listing?
This is a lot of 20 lamps, making it well-suited for facilities or productions that need to keep replacement stock on hand.
What is the lamp code for ordering replacements or verifying compatibility?
The lamp code is QIH240-2000/S2, which can be cross-referenced with fixture manufacturers to confirm fit.
