Westcott Optical Spot Elinchrom Mount GOBO Lens Kit

The Westcott Optical Spot, designed in collaboration with photographer Lindsay Adler, is a precision lighting modifier that attaches to Elinchrom-mount strobes and constant lights. At its core is a 150mm f/3.5 EF focusing lens that projects a sharp, well-defined circle of light onto subjects, backgrounds, or surfaces. Unlike basic snoots or grids that simply narrow a beam, the Optical Spot allows true focusing control — projecting crisp patterns at sharp focus or dialing back for soft, atmospheric effects. Four built-in adjustable metal leaves function similarly to barn doors, letting you carve the projected light into precise slices and shapes without additional accessories.

The kit arrives ready for creative work with 8 gobo designs that project patterns ranging from window frames to abstract textures, plus 5 color gel filters for adding tonal shifts to the projected light. Each gobo slides into a dedicated holder, and the gel ring clip makes color changes quick. The system is rated for strobes up to 600Ws and constant LED lights up to 100W COB, covering the majority of studio and on-location lighting setups. Everything packs into a dedicated travel case alongside individual cases for the lens and gobos, making it practical for photographers who work across multiple locations.
