Overview

The Yamaha YAC 1656 Baritone Saxophone Mouthpiece Cap is a purpose-built accessory designed to shield your mouthpiece from chips, scratches, dust, and moisture when the instrument is not in use. Constructed from brass and finished in gold, it offers a step up from standard plastic caps in both durability and appearance. For players who have invested in a quality mouthpiece, this cap provides reliable day-to-day protection that helps preserve the mouthpiece's tip and facing.

Because it is a genuine Yamaha accessory, the YAC 1656 is engineered to fit Yamaha baritone saxophone mouthpieces with a secure, rattle-free connection. The brass body resists the kind of cracking and splitting that can affect plastic caps over time, making it a practical long-term choice for gigging musicians and students alike who want to keep their equipment in top condition.
