The most important caveat for gamers comes from the same RTINGS review: the X95K cannot run local dimming and VRR simultaneously. You pick one. Input lag
The single most important spec for console gaming. The chain is: controller → console → TV processing → pixels. The TV's contribution is its processing latency in Game mode. Practical thresholds (independent of any specific TV):
- Under 10 ms: excellent; competitive shooter / fighting-game class.
- 10–20 ms: very good; fine for almost all single-player and most competitive gaming.
- 20–40 ms: noticeable to attentive gamers; acceptable for casual play.
- Over 40 ms: avoid for any serious gaming.

HDMI 2.1 features and what they enable
