The Atomos Shogun Connect is a 7-inch network-connected HDR monitor-recorder that pushes the boundaries of what an on-camera device can do. Its 1920 x 1200 touchscreen display delivers accurate HDR monitoring, allowing cinematographers and camera operators to evaluate exposure, color, and focus with confidence on set. Under the hood, the Shogun Connect records up to 4K video in a selection of professional codecs including Apple ProRes RAW, Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHR/HD, and HEVC (H.265), making it adaptable to virtually any post-production pipeline. Dual 12G-SDI connections with SDI RAW support accommodate high-end cinema cameras, while dual HDMI and USB Type-C ports extend compatibility to mirrorless and other camera systems.

What truly distinguishes the Shogun Connect is its suite of connectivity features. Built-in Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth LE transform the device into a cloud-connected production hub. Adobe Frame.io Camera to Cloud integration lets you upload footage to the cloud in real time, so editors and stakeholders can start reviewing material before the shoot wraps. Direct live streaming to Facebook Live, Twitch, and YouTube is built in, removing the need for a separate streaming encoder. Atomos AirGlu technology provides wireless timecode and metadata synchronization across multiple devices.
