DPReview and Android Authority note the OM 3 folds down to fit easily in a bag (~405 g), pairs fantastic 3-axis stabilization with fast, sticky ActiveTrack 3.0 face tracking, and runs about 15 hours per charge — long enough that your phone usually dies first, so the pass-through can top it up. - No gimbal lock. The arms aren't lockable and it isn't weather-sealed, so handle it carefully.
- Asymmetric range. The folding design slightly limits pan/tilt range versus rigid gimbals.
- Mimo app vs native camera. Tracking needs DJI's Mimo app, which trails native camera apps on exposure and focus (especially Android).
- Older model. Newer OM versions add magnetic clamps and built-in extension rods.
