The Gravity GR-KIT8R 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit is designed to give car audio enthusiasts everything they need to wire a single amplifier into their vehicle's electrical and audio system. The kit centers on 17 feet of 8-gauge power cable and 3 feet of 8-gauge ground cable, sufficient for routing from the battery through the firewall to most trunk or rear-seat amplifier locations. Signal is carried by a 17-foot double-shielded RCA cable that helps keep engine noise and electrical interference out of the audio path, while an 18-gauge remote turn-on wire tells the amplifier to power on and off with the head unit.

Finishing out the kit are 20 feet of 16-gauge speaker wire, a gold AGU fuse holder with a 60A fuse for overcurrent protection, gold-plated ring and spade terminals for secure connections, a snap bushing to protect cable at the firewall pass-through, and cable ties for a tidy install. The 8-gauge wire rating makes this kit appropriate for systems up to approximately 400–500 watts RMS. For higher-output setups, a thicker gauge kit would be necessary.
