Do I have to drill into my door to install it?
No. The mount uses a rear adjustable thumb screw clamp that grips the door edge, so there are no screws or holes and no damage to the door. You slide the doorbell in and tighten by hand.
Will it work on my door, and how do I check?
Your door must swing inward, be between 1.37 and 2.3 inches thick, and have a gap wide enough to fit a nickel. Measure before ordering, since fit determines whether the clamp holds.
Can it be used on a storm door, screen door, or steel security door?
