Middle Atlantic WRK-24MDK NPP-O108C Smart Watch Panel

The Middle Atlantic WRK-24MDK is an AV furniture accessory package containing two 3U Essex blank panels designed for use in standard 19-inch equipment racks. Blank panels serve a functional and aesthetic purpose in any rack installation: they seal off unused rack unit spaces to direct airflow properly through active equipment, preventing hot air recirculation that can shorten the lifespan of amplifiers, processors, and other rack-mounted gear. At 3U per panel, the WRK-24MDK is well-suited for installations where larger sections of the rack remain unpopulated — common in racks built with room to grow.

Middle Atlantic is a well-established name in professional AV rack solutions, and even their blank panels reflect the category-standard sizing and build approach expected in commercial and residential AV installs. The lightweight 3.0 lb package ships ready for installation, and the standard 19-inch format ensures compatibility across Middle Atlantic's own rack lineup as well as third-party enclosures. For integrators or DIY AV enthusiasts finishing a rack build, these panels are a low-cost, high-impact detail that separates a polished install from an incomplete-looking one.
