Which iPhone models does this SSD holder work with?
It's compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max — the models that support external SSD recording via USB-C. Earlier iPhones and non-Pro models are not supported.
Do I need a MagSafe case to use it?
You don't strictly need one, but Neewer strongly recommends a MagSafe-compatible case for a more secure hold. Without one, the magnetic grip may not be strong enough to keep the SSD reliably attached during movement.
Does the holder include an SSD or USB-C cable?
No. The package includes only the magnetic SSD holder with touch fasteners. You will need to supply your own SSD and a USB-C cable to connect it to your iPhone.
Will it interfere with the iPhone's camera or other MagSafe accessories?
The holder mounts to the back of the phone via MagSafe alignment, which means you cannot stack other magnetic accessories at the same time. Neewer also notes that interference may occur if used alongside lens filters.
What size SSDs fit in the holder?
It is designed for compact portable SSDs — the kind roughly the size of a USB stick or small card. Check that your SSD fits within the holder's touch-fastener straps before purchasing.
