Input: 1 female NGFF B-type and M-type SATA interface (SATA channel); Output: 1 2.5-inch SATA 7+15 pin interface. The NGFF SSD to SATA 3.0 chassis adapter is only compatible with B-key or B/M key slots for NGFF SSDs and not for M key slots.
Note: MSATA and NGFF SSD hard drives cannot work simultaneously, you can switch them through channel switches. The speed and other properties of the 2-in-1 mSATA to SATA3.0 adapter converter remain unchanged, only the formal conversion interface. Plug and play, no additional drivers required.

Before purchasing, please confirm whether your M.2 SSD is a SATA channel or a PCI-E channel. This product does not support B-key and any M-key M.2 SSDs based on PCI-E (such as NVMe). If your hard drive has a password set in the original computer, please remove the hard drive password. If the password is not removed, other computers will not be able to recognize the hard drive

Will this adapter work with my NVMe or PCI-E M.2 SSD drive?
No. This adapter supports SATA-channel drives only. It does not recognize B-key or M-key M.2 SSDs based on PCI-E, including NVMe drives, so confirm your SSD is SATA first.
Can I run an mSATA drive and an NGFF drive in it at the same time?
No. The mSATA and NGFF slots cannot operate simultaneously. You use the built-in channel switch to select whichever drive type you want to access at any given time.
Which M.2 NGFF drive lengths does this adapter physically support?
It supports the common NGFF sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280, corresponding to 22x30 mm through 22x80 mm SATA-protocol solid-state drives.
Does it support M-key-only M.2 SSDs?
No. The adapter is compatible with B-key or B/M-key NGFF SATA drives only. M-key-only slots are not supported, so check your drive's key notch before buying.
Do I need to install any drivers to use this adapter?
No drivers are required. It is plug-and-play and works across Windows 10, 8, and 7, Linux, and macOS, converting the drive to a standard 2.5-inch SATA interface.
Why might another computer fail to recognize my drive in this adapter?
If the drive had a password set on its original computer, that password must be removed first. Otherwise other systems will not be able to recognize the drive through the adapter.
