Sony XL5200_6 55" BRAVIA Projection TV Lamp

The Sony XL5200_6 is a replacement projection TV lamp assembly built for the Sony KDS-55A3000 55-inch BRAVIA rear-projection television. Rather than a bare bulb that requires careful handling and alignment, this product ships as a complete assembly — the genuine OEM bulb comes pre-installed in its housing, allowing for a more straightforward swap. This design minimizes the risk of fingerprint contamination on the bulb surface, which can cause hot spots and premature failure.

Using a genuine OEM bulb means the replacement matches Sony's original specifications for brightness, color temperature, and expected lifespan. For owners of the KDS-55A3000 who have noticed a dimming picture, color shifts, or a flashing lamp indicator, this assembly provides a direct path to restoring the TV's original viewing experience. While the KDS-55A3000 is no longer in production, a quality lamp replacement can add significant additional life to the set, making it a practical option for those who want to continue using their existing home theater setup.
