Zoom L-20 LiveTrak 20-Channel Digital Mixer Recorder

The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 is a 20-channel digital mixer that doubles as a 22-track recorder and a USB audio interface, purpose-built for live performances, rehearsals, and studio sessions. It provides 16 mono mic/line inputs and 2 stereo input channels, covering the needs of full-band setups or multi-source recording scenarios. Recording is handled directly to an SD card at up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution, capturing each channel as a discrete track for later mixdown. Simultaneously, the 22-in/4-out USB audio interface mode can route all inputs to a DAW or streaming software on Mac, PC, or iOS, making it possible to record a backup or stream a live performance while the primary recording runs on the SD card.

Monitor mixing is one of the L-20's strongest features. Six powered headphone outputs, each with a fully customizable and savable mix, allow individual performers to dial in exactly what they need to hear on stage without affecting the main mix. A dedicated seventh output is reserved for the sound engineer. The mixer includes 20 built-in effects with adjustable parameters, accessible through two dedicated effects busses that can be applied to any channel. Each channel has 3-band EQ for tonal shaping. For added flexibility, the L-20 supports wireless control through the free Zoom iOS app when paired with the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter, allowing the engineer or a performer to adjust monitor mixes remotely from anywhere in the venue.
