Overview

Apple Soundtrack 1.2, model M9301Z/B, was part of Apple's suite of professional creative tools, offering loop-based music composition for video producers, podcasters, and hobbyist musicians. The software allowed users to layer and arrange audio loops into complete soundtracks, providing a more accessible entry point to music production than Apple's higher-end Logic Pro. It was designed to complement Final Cut Pro workflows, enabling editors to score their projects without leaving the Apple ecosystem.

This listing is explicitly marked as an old version, and the software has been discontinued by Apple. It will not run on any recent version of macOS, making it suitable only for users who maintain compatible legacy Mac systems. There is no upgrade or migration path to current Apple audio applications. Prospective buyers should be aware that this is a historical product with no active support, and its usefulness is limited to very specific legacy computing environments.
