Overview

The Corsair iCUE LINK LX120-R RGB is a three-pack of 120mm PWM fans built around a reversed rotor design that keeps the dual RGB light loops visible no matter how the fans are oriented in your case. Traditional fans hide their lighting elements when flipped for intake duty, but the LX120-R positions its 18 addressable LEDs across inner and outer rings on the visible side of the reversed rotor, ensuring your lighting investment is always on display. Through Corsair's iCUE software, these LEDs can be synchronized with other iCUE-compatible devices for cohesive, system-wide lighting effects.

Beyond aesthetics, the LX120-R fans are engineered for real cooling performance. PWM-controlled speeds reach up to 2,400 RPM, pushing 67 CFM of airflow with 5.53mm H2O of static pressure — enough to perform effectively on radiators as well as in open-air case positions. Corsair's Magnetic Dome bearing, a refinement of their magnetic levitation technology, reduces friction and operational noise for a quieter experience and extended lifespan. The iCUE LINK bridge connectors included in the kit allow the three fans to daisy-chain directly to each other, connecting the entire bank to the iCUE LINK System Hub with a single cable. This dramatically reduces the tangle of fan headers, RGB cables, and splitters that multi-fan builds typically require.

Key Features

Reversed Rotor for Flawless Looks: Flip the script on your build with reversed rotor fans that ensure the RGB ring remains fully visible, even when mounted for intake

Stunning RGB Lighting with Dual Light Loops: 18 LEDs per fan spread across an inner and outer loop enable brilliant, customizable lighting that can be synchronized with all your iCUE RGB devices

Effective and Efficient Cooling: Deliver superb airflow to your system with precise PWM controlled speeds up to 2,400 RPM, pushing 66.7 CFM of air. An impressive 4.72mm H2O static pressure also gives the LX-R RGB the force it needs for mounting to radiators

LINK Your Fans Together: The included iCUE LINK bridge connectors can connect your fans directly to each other, creating a seamless bank of fans all connected to the iCUE LINK System Hub with just a single cable

Quiet Operation with Magnetic Dome Bearing: CORSAIR’s Magnetic Dome bearing is a refinement of the renowned magnetic levitation bearing, minimizing noise and reducing friction for greater longevity

Frequently Asked Questions

The rotor blades are mounted on the opposite side compared to standard fans, so the RGB light ring remains fully visible even when the fans are mounted as intake with the front facing into the case. This solves the common problem of RGB lighting being hidden on intake-oriented fans.
Yes, the LX120-R fans connect to the Corsair iCUE LINK ecosystem. The included bridge connectors let you daisy-chain the fans together, but they ultimately need to connect to an iCUE LINK System Hub (sold separately or included with other iCUE LINK products) for power and software control.
They work well in both scenarios. With static pressure rated at 5.53mm H2O and airflow at 67 CFM, the LX120-R fans are suitable for mounting on radiators as well as open-air case ventilation.
Each fan has 18 individually addressable LEDs arranged across two light loops (inner and outer), enabling layered and complex lighting effects through Corsair iCUE software.
They use Corsair's Magnetic Dome bearing, an evolution of their magnetic levitation design that reduces friction and noise for improved longevity and quieter operation.
