Dell K17A WD15 USB-C 4K Monitor Docking Station

The Dell WD15 (K17A) is a USB-C docking station designed to transform a single laptop port into a full desktop workstation setup. It supports dual Full HD displays simultaneously or a single 4K display at 30Hz, making it a practical choice for professionals who need expanded screen real estate for productivity workflows. The included 180W AC adapter delivers up to 130W of power to compatible Dell laptops through the same USB-C connection that handles data and video, effectively reducing desk cable clutter to a single plug.

Compatibility extends beyond Dell hardware — any USB Type-C equipped device can use the dock's connectivity features, though power delivery drops to 60W for non-Dell platforms. This makes the WD15 a versatile option for mixed-device households or offices, albeit with some limitations. As a renewed unit, the dock has been tested for functionality and provides a budget-friendly alternative to purchasing new. While the 30Hz limitation at 4K and the absence of Thunderbolt support place it behind newer docking solutions, the WD15 remains a solid performer for dual 1080p setups and day-to-day peripheral management.
