The DESOFICON card reader answers a narrow but common frustration: getting memory-card footage onto an iPhone without a computer in the loop. It connects through the Lightning port and reads Micro SD, TF, SD, and Ultra MicroSD cards ranging from 4GB to 256GB. That range makes it well suited to the accessories that fill cards quickly — dash cams, drones, and security cameras — where pulling clips for a quick review or share is the whole point. Because it's Apple MFi certified, the reader is built to work cleanly with iOS 16 and 17, sidestepping the compatibility nags that uncertified accessories often trigger.

There's no app to install and no login; you plug the reader in, wait three to five seconds, and the card appears in the native Files app. From there you can view photos, watch video, and move data in real time, with two-way transfer letting you copy files onto a card as easily as pulling them off.
