Overview

The Elgato Key Light Neo is a purpose-built lighting solution for video calls, streaming, and content creation. Its edge-lit design diffuses light evenly across your face, reducing the harsh glare and hotspots that are common with direct-facing LED panels. With a color temperature range of 2900K to 7000K and a CRI above 94%, the Neo reproduces natural skin tones accurately across a wide variety of lighting conditions, making it suitable for professional-quality video on platforms like Zoom, Teams, and YouTube.

Setup is straightforward — the adjustable mount clips onto the top of most monitors and laptop screens without tools or adhesives. Power comes through USB-C, and when connected to a 3A supply, the light can push up to 1000 lumens. Control is available both manually on the unit itself and wirelessly over 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, allowing quick adjustments mid-call. Elgato has also designed the Neo line with sustainability in mind, using plastic-free packaging throughout.
