Lenovo 01KN850 SX6 Extension Blade 32G SWL SFPS

The Lenovo 01KN850 SX6 Extension Blade is an enterprise-grade networking module designed to expand Fibre Channel over IP SAN environments. It arrives fully equipped with sixteen 32 Gbps short-wavelength SFP transceivers and eight 8GB PC3-10600S SODIMM memory modules, meaning network administrators can install the blade and bring additional ports online without sourcing components separately. This all-in-one approach reduces procurement complexity and helps ensure component compatibility from the outset.

Shipped in OEM packaging as a new unit, the SX6 blade is intended for organizations that already operate a compatible Lenovo SAN chassis. The 32G SWL SFPs support high-bandwidth, low-latency connections over multimode fiber — well-suited for data center storage fabrics handling large volumes of transactional or streaming data. While the 90-day warranty is modest by enterprise standards, the new condition and included accessories make this a practical option for expanding existing SAN capacity or replacing a failed blade module.
