Microsoft 395-01622 EXCHANGE SERVER ENT-2000

The Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 Enterprise Edition (model 395-01622) was designed to serve as the backbone of organizational communication, delivering integrated email, shared calendaring, and collaboration tools. This package includes the server software along with 25 client access licenses, making it a convenient bundle for departments or small-to-mid-size businesses looking to deploy a unified messaging platform. The Enterprise edition differentiated itself from the Standard edition by supporting multiple storage groups and larger mailbox databases, giving administrators greater flexibility in how they organized and managed user data.

It is important to note that Exchange Server 2000 is a legacy product that reached its end of extended support many years ago. It no longer receives security patches or updates from Microsoft, and it depends on the equally outdated Windows 2000 Server operating system. For any current deployment needs, organizations should look to modern versions of Exchange Server or Microsoft 365 cloud-based solutions. This product may still hold value for collectors, archival reference, or very specific offline lab environments.
