The NZXT Function 2 TKL is a compact gaming keyboard designed to minimize input delay and maximize build quality. At its core are NZXT's Swift Optical Switches, which use light-based actuation for a 0.2 ms response time and a rated lifespan of 100 million key presses. The switches offer adjustable actuation points at 1.0 mm or 1.5 mm, letting users tune the feel to match their preference for speed or deliberate input. Combined with an industry-leading 8,000 Hz polling rate, the Function 2 TKL transmits keystrokes to the PC faster than nearly any competing keyboard on the market.

Beyond performance, the keyboard is built to last and sound great. The top frame uses a 3mm-thick aerospace-grade aluminum plate that adds rigidity and a sleek aesthetic, while a dual-layer sound-dampening foam and tape-modified PCB absorb hollow pinging noises for a fuller, quieter typing experience. The doubleshot PBT keycaps are molded from two layers of plastic so the legends never fade or wear away. Hot-swappable sockets make it simple to try different compatible optical switches without tools or soldering. Customizable per-key RGB lighting rounds out the package, all controlled through NZXT's CAM software for unified system management.
