QNAP TL-D1600S 16 Bay SATA 6Gbps JBOD Storage Enclosure

The QNAP TL-D1600S is a 16-bay JBOD storage enclosure designed for users who need to significantly expand their available storage without replacing their existing infrastructure. With 12 bays for 3.5-inch SATA drives and 4 bays for 2.5-inch SATA drives, it provides the flexibility to build out large-capacity storage pools using standard SATA hard drives and SSDs. The enclosure connects to a host system via the included QXP-1600eS PCIe SATA expansion card, which installs into an available PCIe slot and links to the enclosure through four SFF-8088 external ports using the four included Mini SAS cables.

Compatibility extends across QNAP NAS devices running QTS or QTS Hero, as well as Windows and Ubuntu-based computers and servers, making the TL-D1600S a versatile addition to a range of environments.
