Overview

The Razer Blade 15 has long been recognized for merging gaming performance with a design that doesn't compromise on aesthetics, and this renewed model carries that tradition forward. The CNC aluminum unibody gives it a solid, premium feel while keeping the chassis remarkably thin for a gaming laptop. Inside, the 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor pairs with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU, delivering capable 1080p gaming performance with support for real-time ray tracing and DLSS in compatible titles. The Max-Q design keeps thermals and noise in check, a meaningful advantage in a slim chassis.

The 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 240Hz refresh rate is one of this model's standout features, providing exceptionally smooth motion handling that competitive gamers will appreciate. Per-key RGB lighting lets you customize the keyboard to your preference, and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity opens the door to external displays, fast storage, or even an external GPU enclosure for additional graphics power. The primary drawback is the 256GB SSD, which is undersized for a gaming machine and will require either cloud storage management or an external drive for any substantial game library. At 16GB of RAM, it meets current gaming requirements, though future needs may push beyond that threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

This laptop has been inspected and tested to function like new. It may show limited cosmetic wear and may not include original retail packaging, but performance meets factory standards.
The 240Hz refresh rate delivers extremely smooth visuals, which is especially beneficial in competitive and fast-paced games where quick reaction times matter. It is four times the refresh rate of a standard 60Hz display.
Modern games can exceed 50-100GB each, so 256GB fills up quickly. You may need to manage installed games actively or consider adding external storage.
Yes, it includes a Thunderbolt 3 port, which supports high-speed data transfer, external displays, and compatible eGPU enclosures.
The Max-Q variant is designed for thinner laptops, running at lower power and slightly reduced clock speeds compared to the full RTX 2070. It trades a small amount of performance for a slimmer, quieter chassis.
