The Synology DiskStation DS3622xs+ is a 12-bay NAS designed for small to medium businesses running intensive, multi-user workloads such as file storage, iSCSI targets, backup services, email servers, and domain controllers. At its core is an Intel Xeon D-1531 6-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz with turbo boost up to 2.7GHz, paired with 48GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory. This hardware foundation allows the DS3622xs+ to handle concurrent access from many users without bottlenecking, and ECC memory provides an extra layer of data reliability critical for business environments.

This particular configuration includes 48TB of raw storage spread across twelve 4TB SATA hard drives, running on the Btrfs file system for advanced data integrity features including snapshots and self-healing capabilities.
