The Tascam TH-07 studio monitor headphones are built around large 50mm drivers housed in circumaural (over-ear) closed-back ear cups, a combination designed to deliver detailed audio reproduction with strong bass accuracy and effective external noise rejection. The closed-back architecture makes them particularly well-suited for tracking sessions where sound bleed into nearby microphones is a concern, as well as for mixing duties where you need to hear your audio without room interference. The ear cups pivot and angle to accommodate different head shapes and allow one-ear monitoring — a common workflow need when tracking live performers.

Tascam includes two detachable cables with the TH-07: a short coiled cable for desktop and console work, and a longer straight cable for situations where your audio source is further away. Both connect via a 3.5mm jack. At just 16 ohms of impedance, these headphones draw very little power and can be driven cleanly by audio interfaces, laptops, mobile devices, and mixing consoles alike — no dedicated headphone amplifier required. A leatherette carrying bag with a pull-tie closure rounds out the package, providing basic protection for storage and transport between sessions.
