The Teltonika RUTM54 is aimed squarely at deployments where a dropped connection is not an option. At its core sits a global Telit 5G Sub-6 GHz modem supporting both standalone and non-standalone networks, with quoted peaks of 3.4 Gbps down and 900 Mbps up. That headroom suits data-intensive edge sites, remote monitoring installations, and mobile applications that would strain a conventional gateway. Connectivity resilience is the recurring theme: two Mini SIM slots sit alongside an integrated eSIM that can carry up to seven profiles, and automatic failover keeps the WAN alive when a primary link falters. Backward compatibility with LTE Cat 19, rated to 1.6 Gbps, provides a 4G safety net where 5G coverage thins out.
