Does this water block support LGA 1700 for 12th/13th Gen Intel processors?
Not out of the box. Thermaltake offers a separate LGA 1700 mounting kit (CL-O031-ST00BL-A) that must be purchased additionally to use this block on LGA 1700 motherboards.
How are the RGB LEDs controlled on the W4 Plus?
The 12 addressable RGB LEDs are software-controlled, allowing you to customize lighting effects, colors, and patterns through compatible RGB software to match your build's theme.
What material is the cold plate made of?
The cold plate is constructed from nickel-plated copper, which provides excellent thermal conductivity while the nickel plating adds corrosion resistance for long-term use with liquid coolant.
Is this a standalone cooler or does it require a custom loop?
This is a CPU water block designed for custom liquid cooling loops. You will need a pump, reservoir, radiator, fittings, tubing, and coolant to complete the setup.
