The TP-Link CPE510 is a purpose-built outdoor wireless access point designed for long-range connectivity on the 5GHz band. At its core is a built-in 13dBi 2x2 dual-polarized directional MIMO antenna that provides focused signal coverage for point-to-point links spanning more than 15 kilometers under optimal line-of-sight conditions. Transmission power is adjustable from 0 to 27dBm (500mW), allowing precise tuning to match the requirements of a specific link distance and local regulatory limits. The device supports multiple operation modes — Access Point, Client, AP Router, and AP Client Router (WISP) — making it adaptable to a wide range of deployment scenarios from simple building-to-building bridges to WISP subscriber connections.
