The Zoom 5352-00-00 combines a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and a Wireless-N router into a single compact device, designed to replace both a rented modem and a standalone router. On the modem side, it supports download speeds up to 343 Mbps — up to eight times faster than older DOCSIS 2.0 hardware — and is certified for own-your-modem programs with Comcast, Cox, Time Warner Cable, and other providers. That certification means you can return your rented modem and stop paying the monthly rental fee, which typically runs around $85 per year.

The built-in router provides Wireless-N connectivity at up to 300 Mbps, with two adjustable external antennas that let you fine-tune signal direction for better range and throughput in your home or office.
