Overview

The Lenovo 0A61770 Privacy Screen Filter is built around patented 3M microlouver technology, which narrows the visible viewing angle so that only the person seated directly in front of the screen can read its contents. Anyone glancing from the side sees a darkened display, making it an effective safeguard when working with confidential data in airports, cafes, or shared offices. The filter is designed specifically for 12.5" widescreen laptops with a 16:9 aspect ratio, ensuring edge-to-edge coverage without awkward gaps or overhang.

Beyond privacy, the filter serves as a physical shield against scratches and minor abrasions that accumulate on exposed LCD panels over time. Its reversible construction gives you the choice between a glossy surface for vivid color reproduction and a matte surface that cuts down on glare under harsh lighting. Installation is straightforward, and the filter can be removed quickly when you no longer need the privacy function, making it a practical everyday accessory for mobile professionals.
