Overview

The Sharp LQ154M1LW2A is a 15.4-inch TFT LCD panel with WUXGA resolution (1920x1200), designed as a replacement screen for laptops that originally shipped with this display size and resolution class. The WUXGA resolution is notably taller than the more common 1920x1080 Full HD standard, providing additional vertical screen real estate that benefits productivity tasks like document editing, spreadsheet work, and software development where extra visible lines of content make a meaningful difference.

As a bare panel, the LQ154M1LW2A is intended for users performing a direct screen replacement or upgrade on a compatible laptop. Installation requires reusing the existing mounting brackets, cable harness, and bezel from the original display assembly. The most important consideration before purchasing is compatibility: the connector type, pin configuration, backlight technology (CCFL or LED), and physical mounting dimensions must match your laptop's existing setup. Sharp's reputation for display quality means the panel should deliver solid color reproduction and viewing characteristics in line with professional-grade laptop screens of its generation.
